Except for a few minor malfunctions, the convention went very well in our opinions. The car show on Saturday got disrupted by one of the afternoon thunderstorms that are common in Colorado at this time of year, the Colorado Highway Department began a highway repair project sometime between the last check run and the beginning of the Fun Tour, and the TSD Rallye got interrupted when the Town of Breckenridge decided to resurface a street a few minutes after the first cars completed the last leg of the rallye, but everybody kept their senses of humour and had a good time in spite of everything.
The Rocky Mountain Triumph Club is pleased to report that the club is still intact, most of the members are still speaking to each other, and we are anxious to do it all over again. Sometime around 2011.
No, really. There has been some discussion about hosting another VTR convention. Cripple Creek and Central City have been suggested as possible locations. We will get back to you.
We would especially like to thank Rimmer Brothers and our other sponsors for their generous contributions to the convention. We honestly couldn't have done this without your support.
